Nick began a 6-month volunteer assignment as a Communications Officer at the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) in July 2018. He will work with staff at ARMAC to strengthen and enhance their communications to both the general public as well as key partner organisations. Nick holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University.

Prior to taking this assignment he worked as an editor for the Australian Institute of International Affairs and has also worked for the United Nations at UNESCAP in Bangkok. While this is his first time in Cambodia he has lived in Asia for 18 years, including living in Thailand, China, Vietnam and Indonesia, among other countries.
