Meredith began a 12-month assignment as Program Support Officer in June 2019. The role aims to provide support to technical and program staff in implementing, monitoring and evaluating new & existing programs, formulating project proposals and event/program coordination support.

Meredith has over 8 years experience in the refugee and human rights sector in Australia and Sri Lanka, having previously worked at FOKUS Women (Sri Lanka), Amnesty International and ActionAid Australia. Most recently she was the Community Engagement Manager at the Western Sydney MRC, delivering services under the refugee Settlement, Engagement and Transition Support program. She had oversight of community development, youth programs, project development & implementation and advocacy.

She holds a Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (Asia Pacific) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Sociology and Government & International Relations also from the University of Sydney.
