Internship Opportunities
ARMAC welcomes internship applications from eligible students and provides an opportunity to acquire direct experience in the mine action sector. ARMAC is active in various functional areas related to its mandate, which can be categorised in three main pillars: Enhancing Mine/ERW Awareness, Victim Assistance, and Research and Knowledge Sharing.
To apply for an internship please complete the form at the bottom of this page. You will need to complete all fields and upload:
- Your CV
- Proof of Enrollment from your University (Ideally this will be a Letter of Enrollment from your Department at University)
- An application letter (maximum of 500 words) detailing the time frame and the purpose of your internship. It should include your main area of focus and an overview of research you would like to conduct (if any), along with the goals you plan to achieve during the internship

Volunteer Opportunities
ARMAC is currently seeking a Program Support Officer through the Australian Volunteers Program. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen with a special category visa (SCV) or an Australian permanent resident. On an ongoing basis, ARMAC is seeking skilled volunteers who wish to use their professional skills, experience, talents and capabilities to contribute towards ARMAC’s ongoing operation and programme activities. We are looking for passionate and qualified individuals who have a strong desire to build local capacity and work in a challenging field.
